I Am A Minnesooootan

I’m Neva, a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before moving to North Carolina I lived with my family in Minnesota. That’s me in the picture with my mouth open waiting to catch a snowflake.

I grew up in a small town called Howard Lake. Yes, really small as in less than 2,000 people AND I live in the township outside of that town.

Since leaving the frigid expanse of Minnesota, I have attended Durham Technical Community College, became a resident of North Carolina, and transferred into UNC-Chapel Hill.

I have spent my time at UNC with the Daily Tar Heel, a student-run newspaper, on both the Opinion and Audience Engagement desks.

When I’m done with all that, you can find me reading menus before going to restaurants, reading in the park, crafting in my small apartment, hanging with my cat, and generally being a geriatric woman.
